An employee shall not engage in any business activity or work either in the capacity of employee or otherwise, which prevents an employee from devoting his or her primary interests, talents, and energies to the accomplishment of work for ASPA or tends to create a conflict between the private interest of an employee and his or her official responsibilities. The employee must notify his or her department head of any outside work or activity. If the department head finds there is a conflict of interest the employee must choose between jobs.History: Rule 11-84, eff 19 Dec 84, (part).
