February 2012 Appellate Calendar Released
The High Court has released the latest appellate division calendar. The Appellate Division will be convening on February 23, 2012 at 1:30pm. Attorneys are encouraged the check the calendar for any pending cases.

Call For Nominations For The Bar Justice Award
The ASBA is seeking nominations for the first annual Arthur A. Morrow Justice Award. The ASBA will only accept nominations from bar members, but the nominees may be from outside the bar. Please submit nominees to Daniel Woods at the Attorney General’s Office. The deadline for submissions if February 15, 2012. For more information, please read the full announcement.

Christmas Party
The Bar will be hosting its annual Christmas Party on December 17, from 5pm – 11pm. The party will be held at the Turtle & Shark lodge in Vaitogi. All Bar members, Court staff, and the Judiciary are invited to attend. Formal invites will be distributed in your court mailboxes. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and we look forward to seeing you all on December 17.

Associate Judge Save Retires
The Bar Association would like to congratulate Associate Judge Liuato Tuitele on his recent retirement. Judge Save has greatly served the court and the people of American Samoa and the Bar is thankful for his years of service. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
