information about American Samoa’s legal system and the members of the
Bar. We are the official bar
association for those who practice law in American Samoa. Our members’ names are proudly posted here
for the world to see. Visit our legal
resources section to access our extensive collection of local laws including
court opinions going back to l901, statutes passed by the legislature, court
rules, the territorial constitution and other organic documents. This law compilation project represents the
first time most of these materials have been available to the public over the
internet. The American Samoa Bar
Association Justice Foundation is responsible for the law library. The foundation, in cooperation with the
High Court, has recently begun a project to publish the decisions of the High
Court and District Court from l997 to 2005. |
